Large sized slice of agate crystal, polished to reveal the unique patterns. The colours range through greys, light browns, creams and rust/brown.Agate is part of the quartz family , and typically shows these attractive bands . When the slice is held to the light, the internal matrix can be seen in greater detail. This can either be achieved by placing it where natural daylight can shine through, or, by placing a light source behind it, as seen in pictures 1 and 9. In healing circles, agate is thought to be a generally balancing crystal, while also enhancing mental function and being soothing and calming. Supplied with a large clip and twist acrylic display stand.
