Very good sized specimen. Beautiful fern like manganese dendritic inclusions on a light sandstone. Double sided as seen in picture one. Known as a pseudo fossil, as often mistaken for a fossil plant or fern as they look so similar. However, they are actually formed by a chemical process ; the tiny fronds of manganese oxide crystals that over a very long period of time embed themselves in the sand stone matrix. In healing circles, these specimens are thought to resonate with tiny nerves or blood vessels ( as in the medical term dendrite) thus helping circulatory or conditions of the nervous system. They are also thought o bring grounding and stability. Supplied a large acrylic display stand.
