Hand Crafted Display Stand -Wood Base with Steel Supports ; Ideal for Displaying  Fossils, Crystals, Collectables, Mobile Phones and More....

Locally hand crafted display stand; Birch plywood base which has been lightly lacquered. The steel holders have been heated cherry red to mould to shape, then quenched in oil. This causes carbonisation which prevents rusting. 

Size: The birch plywood base is 12 x 8 cm  with a depth of 2 cm. The total height from base to tip of highest point of steel is 6.2 cm . The  width space available for  the base of the display item is 1.8 cm and this tapers out  at the top , as the back support curves back slightly. The items I have shown in the pictures range up to  17 x 12 cm  and around 1.3 cm wide. Weight of stand is 149 gm.The maximum weight I have tried is 700 gms which is the crystal slice pictured. I would not advise any larger or heavier than this, due to risk of toppling over. The stands are ideal to display special items such as fossils, crystal slices, picture frames, photos, mobile phones and much more. 

Condition: There may be subtle variations in the wood grain, due to it being a natural product. code 5458
