Interesting specimen which is a crustacean burrow ( Thallasinoides). This is a known as a trace fossil,in this case, made by a shrimp of some sorts,showing a glimpse into its burrowing life millions of years ago! It comes from a respected fossil site, along side the River Severn contains a bone bedoverlying the Rhaetian Penarth series. In this bed, remains of fish, reptiles and sharks teeth and their coprolites have been found. Date: Triassic
