Fossil Tentacled Jelly Fish Pair Hiemalora Stellaris Wisconsin Upper Cambrian
Very rare to acquire fossil jelly fish pair. The jelly fish have tentacles and are from the Mount Simon Sandstone Formation in Wisconsin. As jellyfish are almost entirely composed of water and soft tissue, unlike fossils with bony structures, it is rare to find fossils of them and especially this old. In this case, this is a fossilized impression of the jellyfish. It is an opportunity for the serious fossil collector and it is only the second time I have been able to acquire fossil jellyfish.
