Interesting specimen containing detailed fossil Chondrites which are feeding trails of ramifying branches. Can be seen in even more detail under magnification. There are also attractive sprinkles of pyrite ( fools gold) over the specimen. Please see pocket hand magnifying lens listed  under accessories This respected fossil site, along side the River Severn contains a " bone bed" overlying the Rhaetian Penarth series. In this bed, remains of fish, reptiles and sharks teeth and their coprolites have been found. Supplied with a small acrylic display stand.
