Acrylic box containing six fossils; Gastropod,crinoid section, ammonite, nautiloid, shark tooth . There is a small leaflet in the box ( picture 6) identifying these.The box measures 5.5 x 5 x 2 cm.
The accompanying booklet is designed for the junior fossil collector. It is illustrated and written by a palaeontologist.The booklet is set out in easy to read sections. It describes what a fossil is and how a fossil is formed.There is a geological time scale section, followed by an over view of the more common fossil categories and types.It is illustrated with appealing pictures which bring palaeontology to life.Booklet measures 11 x 11 cm I have not had room to show all 25 of the pages in the booklet, but you can see the pages in more detail on my other booklet listing.
